They are complimentary to VCSELs and can be used to produce diffusers for Time-of-Flight 3D sensing and 2D illumination, structured light sources for 3D sensing, and complex high efficiency flat lenses or holograms. Finisar DOEs are etched directly into the substrate and contain no organic materials, ensuring superior reliability and environmental stability.
